The Network kein Mensch ist illegal (no one is illegal) Cologne has been supporting refugees since 15 years in their struggle for human rights and dignity. We think that the world is owned by everybody. That’s why we refuse to accept the eligibility of national borders because they bar people from choosing where they want to live.
Within our possibilities we try to support refugees to be able to live in Germany – regardless whether they are in possession of documents or not. Elise Wiesel, writer and holocaust survivor once said: "You must know that no human being is illegal. That is a contradiction in terms. Human beings can be beautiful or more beautiful, they can be right or wrong, but illegal? How can a human being be illegal?"
